About Scott Fendley

Scott Fendley is a well-known presence in the Advancement Services and Development Operations world. His expertise includes development office business procedures, gift processing, database management, campaign reporting, donor relations and prospecting. Prior to founding SF Consulting, he was a senior associate at Bentz Whaley Flessner where he worked with clients ranging from major universities, small colleges, health care foundations, large membership organizations and community charities. Prior to joining BWF, Mr. Fendley served as director of advancement services at Wabash College where he managed the internal support programs for the college's highly successful $137 million campaign.

Additionally, Mr. Fendley is the founding president of the Association of Advancement Services Professionals and was a past member of the Datatel User Group Board of Directors. He is a member of APRA, AFP, ADRP, CASE, and AASP. He has presented at numerous senior level conferences and authored several articles and book chapters including the recent CASE publication "Advancement Services: A Foundation for Fundraising (2nd Edition)".

Mr. Fendley holds an MBA from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from Wabash College.
